This Sasieni 1 dot Straight Grain is a rather scarce pipe, keeping it smokey with more Condor Ready Rubbed.

Banjo, I hate to break it to you, but that is a much later European One Dot, not a pipe from the early 1920's. I can tell just by the style of the Sasieni logo, and also the color of the dot.

This was up on ePay last week. Has the fishtail logo and the baby blue dot. I wasn't interested in buying, but I was curious to see what it would fetch.
Just another FAKE. Sasieni wasn't doing sandblasts during this period.

Well I did notice the seller was in Italy, so I figured it might European.
But now that you mention it, yeah. Dunhill had recently patented the shell sandblast so they wouldn't have been doing that.

In addition to the Fish-tale logo, a One Dot would also have a Patent number, right?
Yes, however, an early pipe from 1919, before the fire, would not be expected to have the patent (1920).
