How can you know that they make the blend so popular if you don't know what they are like?
All right, no banter, I don't know it either but I think they are the leafs that sweeten the blend (to the extent that it cloys). I'd also guess that Macedonia is an Oriental leaf because it's pretty much in the east.
Glad to hear you like English blends and welcome to the forum!

Macedonia is an Oriental tobacco from Macedonia in the Balkans.
Brown Cavendish is exactly that, Brown Cavendish. Without specifics, there is no way of telling what type of tobacco it is because Cavendish is a process that is done to tobacco and not a tobacco varietal. You can have light, brown, dark, black, etc. Cavendish. It is mainly made from Burley, but there is also a lot of Virginia Cavendish as well. If I had to guess what kind they used, I would guess Burley.
