Yeha:) I was digging through my old stash of pipe tobacco that was stored 12 years ago and low and behold I found a tin of Dunhill Elizabethan Mixture. I hadn't even opened. Nope it's not going on ebay for $80 I am smoking it:)

I've missed this tobacco and I hope it will be one the new company brings back and it original in blend.

Congrats, gunner. It's a blend I truly enjoyed many years ago. Happy smokes!

Wow! A fancy new pipe and now this find too! You are definitely in the pipeline of the smoking gods.

Even if the new stock turns out to be even better than in the past, I dread reading all the whining for the next ten years about how it can't compare to the originals.

It won't too much of a baseline since it's had 12 years to age so it has the potential to be better than the new stuff just from the number of years it's been aging. I have some bulk Elizabethan that I've been smoking so I'm using that as a baseline for the new tins I get.
