Hey guys just bought a tin of this and found it to be a really nice smoke how ever it seemed to bite quite hard. so im just wondering what your experiences are with it. is it a case of this being a tobacco that bites easily? or is it just a case that i was enjoying it alot of puffing away at it more than i realized?

I'm a big fan of the Yacht. Probably in my top ten. I don't find that it bites. But it's so good and naturally sweet that you may be over-puffing without realizing it.

I picked up a few tins a couple of months based on the positive reviews on this forum. By the time I get to crack one open, I'm sure it will have almost a year in the tin (that is of course if I can keep from cracking open yet another new tin in the rotation.)
Looking forward to smoking it.

So many tobaccos, so little time in a lifetime to try them...I'm a newcomer, and I barely know where to start. I'm now waiting for a tin of Molto Dolce to arrive in the mail. All I'm looking for is something that doesn't bit me like that junkyard dog (what a wonderful simile!), and sips sweet without a struggle. That's partially due to the right pipe; I got a Brebbia that I swear fights me for a decent smoke.

Its a great blend, becoming one of my favorites. I would attribute any bite to the smoker and not the blend.

I am one of the few that does not like this blend at all. I have a tine with just a few bowls smoked out of it and am deciding whether to cellar it or trade it?

FWIW, on another thread there was talk about drying out the blend prior to smoking.
I've found, assuming all other factors of packing, cleaning, not smoking too fast, etc. are covered, my difficulty has been not being patient enough to let the tobacco dry out prior to stuffing it in the bowl.
When I take the proper time (or when I try the hair dryer routine shortly) I have a much better experience than when it is moist. This goes for English as well as Va and Va/pers.
My 2 cents
