Bought my first Dunhill this week and it's set for arrival tomorrow.

Dave Neeb has a nice selection of reasonably priced Dunnies that I've been eyeballing for a while.

I've always enjoyed seeing the Quaints, as they are unique shapes.

Figured I'd treat myself to a birthday pipe and this particular Quaint spoke to me.

It's a '76 Shell Briar, kind of mutated Rhodesian/dublin shape with a bent stem. Condition is 9/10, appears to be only lightly smoked. The weight is what sealed the deal for me, .7oz!

I'll post up more thoughts and pics when it arrives.

I want to see more Quaint Dunhills.. post up yours here.

If anyone has more info or links pertaining to the history of them that'd be great too.

Nice! I'd be smoking the same thing in it if it were my pipe. Great selections all around, from one bi-centennial Virginia smoker to another. :puffy:

That's a great pipe Brian! I don't own any quaints, but that shape is appealing. Classy pipe, and with a Dunhill quaint, you can smoke it for 20 years and still get what you paid (or more) if you ever decide to part with it........... Win/Win!!........ :puffy:
