dunhill paris

hello everyone,
i would like to know if anyone knows smething about a pipe stamped dunhill paris. I found last year at an antiquaire in normandie, and i was curious to know if it is something real or just fake. The pipe is a small bulldog shape with a D inside of a diamond stamped on the stem

Apparently not a Dunhill product as such, but an interesting piece of history. Rarely do French pipes disappoint. England based much of its design sense on French pipes, going way back. French pipes sold under their own marques tend to be remarkable values, many steps above their price points.
