I’m pondering just trading off the “goodie bag”, really only one thing that interests me, and I hate rolled press tin. Those slippers should be a good barter piece haha!

I must be smoking too much. Slippers? Rolled pressed tin?
WTF is going on here?

I went for the "goodie bag" special too, and while I am grateful for it, I must admit that I was expecting

tobaccos more to my liking. That shouldn't have been too hard since the only things I wouldn't try are Latakia,

Lakeland blends, and cheap aromatics.
Maybe future promotions should just feature cash discounts -- just to (excuse the pun) leave a good taste in everybody's mouth.

I like the ideal of giving tobaccos instead of discounts, it forces stubborn people to try new blends, and it is a way to advertise blends P&C beleive should be selling better.

I find it hard to believe that people are actually "bitching" about a GIFT that was given, it looks from what I can tell to be a great variety that I myself can't wait to receive(mine is scheduled to be here Monday). Looks like from what I am seeing there are 3 different tins of baccy; aro, non-aro & english along with some other samples. Great way to introduce more "newbies" to different tobaccos, maybe not good enough for some "veterans" but I personally think it is a great package. If it is not for you you cold always share the wealth and gift it to someone that would enjoy it and maybe that would make you feel better about it so someone could actually enjoy it.

I wish I could have gotten a goodie bag but taxes didn't come in until yesterday. You who got it are lucky! I'm jealous! Smoke a bowl of each then cellar the rest until you can't afford to buy any more and you have to smoke it.

I'm AMAZED !! P&C doesn't have to do anything. Their prices are great, give good service.

They went above and beyond this year. I'm very dissapointed in this thread.
I held off placing my order for 3 weeks cause I knew ispd was coming; and we got the total hook up.

Some of us even got SLIPPERS!
I'm embarassed for each of you.

I am impressed that any company would be so generous. Whether you appreciate the GIFT or not, it was a GIFT and it was fun! I enjoyed opening my goodie bag, and I very much appreciate the gesture, whether I like the tobacco or not.

I love it. I was thrilled with my gift. I wrote and told them as much. Free tobacco? And then people turn around and complain its so expensive.:. Can't wait to try em out!

Whoa, 05venturer! Let's not start a flame war by asserting that I'm "bitching" about a gift.

Saying that I am grateful for it could hardly be considered "bitching". I was just observing that I

found nothing there that I would smoke, and that grab bag gifts should have more universal appeal.

I was trying to be constructive, not resentful.
As for passing it on to someone who might appreciate it, I always do that with tobaccos that I don't personally care for.

Maybe P&C.com was doing the same thing.

@cortezattic, I did not think you were bitchin, some of the earlier posts on this and a couple other threads were suggesting that P&C should have done better, I believe they went above and beyond to show their gratitude for our business.

Maybe I read into some of the other posts incorrectly but from what I see from others I am not the only one. Did not mean to offend anyone just think more people should be appreciative for the "goodie bag" and NOT criticize it because it wasn't what they want. SORRY ALL
