Hi hi. I am heading to Whistler for 3 weeks. How much baccy can I cross the border with legally? Hoping the amount will last me 3 weeks. Also, are there cigar restrictions?
Thanks.

I can't answer your question, but enjoy your time in Whistler. I've never been there in the summer, it is the best ski area I've ever been to thought.

Thanks Cider! That is more than enough.
Trail, my ex makes about 8x what I do and has signed my 8 y/o son up for ski camp on the glacier on Blackcoomb mountain. I am going as life support, since she lives overseas. So he will be skiing (i might go a couple times) and biking and chillin on a hammock.
The kids usually bungee jump and hit the trampoline gym a lot as well.
http://www.skiandsnowboard.com/ if anyone is interested. The staff is AMAZING and let me tag along on many events, since i am a concerned parent. =)

Anyone know what a "tobacco stick" is?
If Google hasn't steered me wrong, the term "tobacco stick" has two meanings:

1. The stick or lath on which tobacco is hung during curing.

2. Small wooden sticks (2.5 inches long) coated with finely milled smokeless tobacco, introduced by Altria in 2011 as an alternative to cigarettes in locations where smoking is prohibited.
I suspect that it's the latter that are being regulated...

Should be a good day. If you passby a ski run called the "Blow Hole" (it is between the tbar and the glacier) take a peek over the side. It's a great rush to ski, only for the advance or even expert skier. Also the Couloir Extreme, visible from the mid-mountain lodge, it was previously called the Sudan Couloir, named for the late, great skier Sylvan Sudan. I heard he was insulted that they named a whimpy ski run after him. The Couloir is 55 degrees and occasionally people have been killed while trying to ski this run.
I'll ski most runs, but I wimp out when it comes to a mountain bike and gravity. Have a great time with your son.
