Dream Calabash PAD

Yeah, I know, I'm a sucker for Calabash, Meerschaum and Morta pipes and would be remiss if I didn't say bamboo but that's the only thing missing on this pipe, and while I don't own it yet it is being RESERVED for me though. It is a collaborative effort where the Morta body was made by Davorin and the Meerschaum bowl by Altinok.

Very nice! The carving in the meerschaum displays the Middle Eastern flair of intricacy and patterning, which I love. Unique, I've not seen morta paired with meerschaum, and from the color contrast alone such pipes command attention.

I have another Morta and Meerschaum Calabash, it is by Trever Talbert. The body, or what the gourd would be, is Meerschaum that's been blasted, the bowl is Morta and the cap and end piece are Masur Birch. I think these two pipes displayed together on one pipe stand (I'm working on that in my head to make) will accompany, and compliment, each other quite nicely.
