Do you throw yours away, or give it the Sherlock Holmes touch and save it on your mantle for later?

All I usually get are a few shreds of tobacco in the dottle. So I don't save it as there really isn't enough to save.

Depends on what I smoke if. I get any, when there's a few strings of baccy left no when there's nothing but dottle yes, I like how it taste

I throw it out, I usually don't see it until it is in the ashtray any way.

Sometimes I leave it in sometimes I dump it, a lot has to do with the type of pipe it is as well.

If there is any remaining from a deep bowl I didn't get to finish it gets saved. I usually put it what I call my left overs stash (what's left of a blend that isn't enough to pack a bowl).

I rarely if ever have any dottle left over and if I do I dump it. I wouldn't think that you would get a very good smoke from saving left over dottle. Just do what I do, keep smoking until you suck in a mouthful of hot ash, then you will know you got every drop.

I smoke a bowl down to ash. On the rare occasion there is a little dottle, I throw it out.
