Dang, that’s really nice wrapping and I love the extras. Never thought of buying a pipe from them before (no particular reason) but this puts them on my radar.

Thx. It’s a mid-range priced pipe (under $100) from Buckeye, so the wrapping surprised me at that price point. I expect wrapping like that on a $300 pipe.

At 7”, it’s a bit larger than I usually purchase, but every once in a while (long car trip) you need that big bowl.

Buckeye was a carvers collective ran by Premel Chedda. All the pipes were carved by well know artisan carvers and sold by Premel through Smokers Haven. Nice score.

That pipe has a distinct Nate King flavor, if I had to hazard a guess. But it’s impossible to say for sure without asking Nate Himself.

Here’s a better photo of the maker’s mark on the bottom of the bowl, without the lighting glare like my previous photo. I’m breaking it in with a little honey and Autumn Evening tobacco from Cornell & Diehl, since autumn is only a few days away.
