FYI - The 8"x12" 2 quart bags will hold 4x regular round tins, 2x C&D/Pease type tins, or 1 500g GH&C box, without having difficulties getting enough of the bag in the food saver to seal.

Here's a couple of my older posts on the subject:

An additional thought on the oxy absorbers: They seem to be not required whatsoever but they do reduce the size after bagging/sealing and makes for a little more ease in storing in plastic totes/boxes/whatever.

Thanks for the info, I'll be sealing bulk tobacco not tins though. I only seal square tins to prevent premature popping, and for that I've found regular food saver bags to be sufficient to keep pressure on the tin lid. I'm just looking for something to replace mason jars for bulk stuff.
