Does Anyone Know Dave Whitney? (Broken Pipe)

I've stumbled across his book "Old Briar" and would like to contact him if he is still around.

He used to write an article in The Pipe Collector. I searched for is name in my 2019 and 2020 copies, but he was not found. I have the other years in a hard-drive back in Maryland. Eddie Fleiss with TPC may know how to contact him.

What Al forgot to add is he has every one of Whitney's article books, short stories you name it. I know he has been charging around 100.00 for a two hour peak at his work.

I read today on another forum that Dave Whitney passed away, and updated this thread. There are several copies of his books online.
