I have one Capri Corallo, and it's one of my best smoking pipes. Being new to the hobby, I'm curious to learn more, so I looked up the company's description of the pipe, and some comments on the internet. They all said these pipes are god sent and that they smoke like a dream. So I just want to check with all of you experienced smokers if this is true in your experiences. Are Savinelli Corallo's really the best pipes on earth? If not, what is your dream pipe? (so that I know what to aim for the next time I add to my collection). Thanks.
River.

I just looked some of them up, very cool unfinished pipes, I would say that 1: they are savinelli and 2: they are high en Savinelli
You just cant go wrong

I have enjoyed a few Corallo pipes over the years. They are indeed great pipes. Mine have always smoked cool and dry. They are very expensive pipes at new retail prices and not easy to find. On the estate market they usually will bring $75+. I have sold some for much more. At one time I had the directions for cleaning them that came with the pipe and it stated specifically that you could clean the bowls with water!!! (exterior). Since they have no finish on the bowls they will get a nice patina from regular smoking and handling and will change color dramatically. If you can find them I would recommend them highly.

I have a couple of corallo pipes, one is a 611KS and the other is a 315KS and they are both punto oro's. They smoke very well and are very light in weight, they both smoke cool and dry. I enjoy them both, the one in my avatar is the 315ks. Im glad that you have a corallo and can enjoy it. :puffy:

I have never smoked one, so I can't say anything about that, but they sure do look cool! :)
