Many years ago I walked through the antique dealer district of Buenos Aires and went into all the stores and asked, "Do you have pipes?"
Over time I stopped doing this and only asked when I saw exposed pipes.
Today I was walking around and there weren't many pipes and the ones that were there were expensive. But I passed by a store that looked like it might have pipes because of the type of things it sold. I asked - Do you have pipes? and the answer was -Yes, I just bought about a hundred.
I don't think it was a hundred, more like fifty and I didn't make him take out all of them either, but after some negotiation three of them moved home. Two very fine Duponts and one Peterson's.
