Disappointing time to get sick

Today is the first day over freezing in a long time. I was looking forward to trying a new blend today, followed by a couple hours of pipe making. But yesterday at work I started the first sympoms of the cold that knocked my wife and daughter for a couple days. Today is worse for me. Why not get sick before a blizzard? Oh well, the tobacco is still waiting for me and the calander says it will get warm eventually.

I moved 1,000 miles north from FL to get away from the weather. Can't stand 9 months of unrelenting heat. You can add clothing, but there is a limit to what you can take off.

Eat a couple of lemons. They are very high in Vitamin C and should help with a quicker recovery.

Hot peppers are also a source of Vitamin C. Perhaps I need to hit my serrano salsa, or just go straight to the hotter stuff.

Couldn't wait any longer. Stuffed 1/4" of tobacco into the pipe and puffed furiously before the sun went down. Also bad time to run out of kerosine for the heater. I hope I don't pay for this indulgence.
