Dip Into the Meerschaum World

I own quite a few briars and the other day I decided to take the dip or plunge into the Meerschaum world. To be honest I don't know much about their age, how to date or what they are worth. I paid about £37 for the lot and I don't know if I over paid. I'm definitely going to enjoy smoking them and colouring the newer ones up.

Looks like the big plunge at dip prices! Great assortment of styles you got there. I really like the lady, everybody has a cavalier, claw, dragon, or a sultan.

Great deal and good way to try meers, i started with cheap figural pipes as well and eventually moved on to the master carvers.

The cheroot holder, claw & egg, and relief carved horse are turn of the century-ish. The rest look to be modern, 1970's or later. Nice haul for sure, enjoy them!
