I picked this pipe up from a European seller. I would like to know if the bamboo is Dunhill factory or later add on. I’ve not been able to find it in any catalog. It is marked Dunhill 4102 and the stem has the white dot. Thanks for any information.

Yes, and Georged informed me that they used a physical connection. You should see where a pin was inserted to hold the bamboo to the shank of the pipe. I haven't found any other maker that did that.
Thank you. There in fact are pins on both sides as shown in the photos. Much appreciated.

Any idea of a year or manufacture time period?

I read the date code as 32. That would make it a 1992, which would also fit with four digit shape code. A 1982 would most likely have a 5-digit shape code. I have two whangee pipes, an early '50s tan shell, and a late '70s group five shell.
