Does anybody have any idea on how to determine the production year on Mc Barens-produced blends that come in pouches, such as Bruno& Amphoras, Symphony ,and Golden Extra?
At least here in the States, there is a date code (Mo/Dy/Yr) on the Mac B pouches of Amphoras that I've had. A sticker reminiscent of the Gawith date code is placed on the pouches of St. Bruno, however it contains both Month and Year of production (instead of the cryptic numerology of Gawith). Of course, I have no St. Bruno pouches on hand, though I do have some Amphoras:

This would be July 29th, 2022. The EU would likely have differing numerical meaning (order), if present.

Here’s some Mac Baren‘s with the EU friendly/easy to decipher date codes.🧐

Amphora Burley. Showing day number 183 from the year of our Lord 2019.

Navy Flake from 2020. You’ll note the date code is on the sticker & not the printed label in this case (crafty Dane’s).

Here’s a guide for reference.
