Do like tobacco blends with fruit, but want something a little different from run-of-the-mill norms (peach, cherry, etc). I will suggest a blend that may have you wanting more, “Fruity & Fragrant by Planta. I bought 4 oz to give it a try.
I received my order a little more than a week ago, but did not try this new one (for me new) immediately. I smelled the blend and was pleased, it has a delicious aroma, different yet delicious.
After a few days of temptation I decided to load a ‘churchwarden’ pipe and sit back to pass judgment on this blend. I am sorry I waited!
The room note was great, fruity and delicious. I did not catch the ‘booze’ in the aroma (as they say there is – but I am not an alcohol drinker), but I did catch the fruit aroma.
The tobacco blend is perfect, it lit easy and burns well.
I took a long slow draw and rolled it around in my mouth to savor the tastes and what tastes. I immediately caught the ‘mango’ flavor and a hint of citrus in the back. Double-fermented black Cavendish was fantastic, left me wanting more (which I had 2 more pipe fulls).
If nothing more you should buy this and try it once. I am quite sure you will return for more.
