1932. Why would you think 1922?
Well the patent number example was from early 20s. I know they run longer and had that rare bit of doubt. So just wanted to make sure I wasn’t missing something. I was 99% sure 1932 lol. Thank you!

Sorry - I wasn't trying to be a jerk.

I always use the Pipedia page: Pipedia Dunhill Dating Guide - Pipedia - https://pipedia.org/wiki/Pipedia_Dunhill_Dating_Guide

It has hotlinks to all the patent numbers, so it's very quick and easy to find this sort of information. When that doesn't tell me what I need to know, I go to Loring's little paperback, but I'm sure that stuff's all on the internet as well.

Yeah, that’s my go to. It was just the patent number bringing the pipe on the chart back a decade or so prior. Definitely the 12 a 32. I just had that very little bit of doubt ?.

There are enough errors in Pipedia, especially with Petersons, that I sometimes wonder if I should be taking the Dunhill stuff as gospel, but so far I think they've transcribed the Loring information accurately on that page. I did find one glaring error, but, being old...I've forgotten what it was :(

Congrats on that pipe - a '32 is a good find! I have a couple of old ones arriving next week that I am very excited about. I had planned on making my website purely Peterson stuff, but I've got about twenty pre-1960 Dunhills, so I guess those will get at least a page.

This is my only 1932 Dunhill. It has a Cumberland stem, but also a cracked bowl:
