Yeah, that’s my go to. It was just the patent number bringing the pipe on the chart back a decade or so prior. Definitely the 12 a 32. I just had that very little bit of doubt ?.
There are enough errors in Pipedia, especially with Petersons, that I sometimes wonder if I should be taking the Dunhill stuff as gospel, but so far I think they've transcribed the Loring information accurately on that page. I did find one glaring error, but, being old...I've forgotten what it was
Congrats on that pipe - a '32 is a good find! I have a couple of old ones arriving next week that I am very excited about. I had planned on making my website purely Peterson stuff, but I've got about twenty pre-1960 Dunhills, so I guess those will get at least a page.
This is my only 1932 Dunhill. It has a Cumberland stem, but also a cracked bowl:
