I was wonder if there is a date range other than, “pre-50’s” for this pipe.

I have a few with this COM stamp and don’t quite understand the dating quote yet for comoys.

I’ve seen some described as 30s, some 20s-50s , etc.

Any knowledge is appreciated.

Upfront, I’ll use this info to help describe/sell the pipe so please contribute thoughts with that in mind. IMG_6050.jpegIMG_6051.jpegIMG_6052.jpeg

Well, the Made in England - Rugby Style (after the shape of the football) is from the 20’s - 30’s.

Pipedia has plenty of info.
I would call this pipes Com a circle shape not rugby ball shape,it looks round not oval but agree on date

Not from what I can tell. Based on the annual brand directories of Fancy Goods the Charing Cross was introduced between 1921 and 1927, and continued to appear through 1958. So in this instance neither trade directories or COM stamps narrow the production date very much.

I don't know there were French chicks who were "second". But I wouldn't date them. Their opinions about America usually rub me in a wrong way. I might say things to hurt their feelings.
