Gents, I acquired this pipe from a good friend. I don't know why it caught my eye. Rather than the elegant lines known for Danish Freehands, it's kind of quirky, chunky looking. No resale value whatsoever, as it has a hairline crack on its heel. I have restored and repaired it for personal use and find it is a fine smoker. I have a thing for "injured" pipes. The maker is a bit of a mystery. I find nothing on the web, save for Pipedia's article, "Here we have another mystery pipe, apparently handmade in Denmark marked D.E.V." My D.E.V. has a Ben Wade stem (the five point crown), but I can't know whether or not the stem is a replacement. I thought I would post it in case anyone has any additional info on this charming chunk.
