I picked up an 8oz container of Crosby Square. It is at a minimum 30 years of age. It is one of the best tobaccos I've yet to try. It stays lit with no effort, it has an excellent room note, and just plain tastes good. Anybody else tried this baccy?
Edit: Fixed it for you ;) Bubba

I've never heard of Crosby Square but did a quick search on it. I'd say your tin may go back way further than 30 years. It was made by Bloch Brothers Tobacco Co, Wheeling,W.Va.

Their biggest sellers were Mail Pouch chewing tobacco and Kentucky Club pipe tobacco. They were bought by Swisher Intl in the 1960's.

I'd say you have a real piece of history there that could be from the 1950's or earlier.

It was open when I bought it. With another old tobacco. For about the price of a 2oz tin or something new.

Man, I got a hell of a deal.
