I've got one in my yard and there are a lot of them on the surrounding properties. I fought an aphid infestation for two years but I won out and my CM is healthy and aphid free at last.

They’re all over the place down here & I’m not allergic so I love their blooms

We've had crepe on our property for as long as we've lived here (15 years). They are very nice, very hardy, and a lovely flower.

One of the things I remember so strongly about the one time I visited your neck of the woods was how heady and intense the smell of flowers were this time of year.
