I would invite all of you to post a pic of a pipe that you covet.
For me at the moment, I keep coming back to this Kurt Balleby pipe, which I am conveinced is just about the nices panel/facet pipe I have ever seen (with a price to match):

Peck, I have seen that Balleby and it is gorgeous. I think I like this one better.

That is an awesome blowfish, but I think I still prefer the panel. I just can't get over the contrast of the grain on each of the panels.
You know Harris, Christmas is coming, so keep me in mind . . .

This shape is kind of weird, but the pipe has some of the prettiest straight grain I have seen in a while.

Not to rain on anyone's parade but if I consider the true definition of covet, there is no pipe I come close to coveting. They're pretty pieces of wood you smoke tobacco in. If my desire level for one hit the covet level, I'd buy it. Then most certainly, I'd smoke it a few times and realize what a stupid, emotional purchase that was.

Peck, I’ve had that Balleby on my wishlist for a while. It’s wonderful. I like this one better, having seen and held it in person this summer. https://www.danishpipeshop.com/d/Kurt-Balleby-Hexagonal-Apple-Number-grade-20-18-i6908.html
I have my grail pipe already, but this is one I “Covet” for sure. https://www.danishpipeshop.com/d/Teddy-Knudsen-Bent-Bulldog-Double-Eagle-i6821.html

Many of the pipes posted by peck and fishnbanjo are covetable. Some of the pipes I go back wanting are pretty ordinary, just have that solid, stolid simplicity.

Love that pipe Peck. Pull the trigger and stop being a tight ass!

None I actually covet, but then again I usually just get the ones I really want. Guess it just comes from being happy with what I've got!
