Corona Old Boy Fuel Tank Question

I’m currently using a corona old boy lighter everyday, maybe 2 bowls a day, flame on the medium intensity and it seems to need a refill after a week or so, or 10 days...

There is some conflicting info on the internet about it, but is this normal for a full or maybe an almost full tank?

I’ve seen people claiming one month of continuous use... really?

Using the normal refilling method, following all the correct steps and of course with some good quality butane.

Just out of curiosity, how long does your old boy last on average?

Interesting... maybe I’m not refilling it to full capacity?

I just hold for 5 seconds, wait 10 seconds and go again for another 5s.

I’m always afraid of overfilling it and causing some damage over time.

I usually fill mine every week. I bleed it and all that and fill for about a 10 count. I don't have any idea how much more fuel it would hold.

Turn the flame valve all the way down, bleed the system, place the lighter in the freezer for 30 minutes, remove from freezer and fill.

Haven’t done the freezer step. I’ll try doing that when refilling next time.

The vapor liquefies when entering the cold lighter and fills more of the chamber volume than vapor alone.?

Run your butane can also under hot water for about 30 seconds. Lighter in freezer lowers pressure, hot butane can raises pressure. Fill 3 time, counting to 10 each time.

Maybe hop while refilling it? Should pump more pressure in... ?

How about keeping it simple and refilling it when its low and stop worrying about it.
