Just had my first bowl full of this one. I like it, I really do. The Aroma reminded me of campfire with a little sage. Only issue was it felt one dimensional. I wondered if I mixed it with something a little sweet it would be even better.

What would you recommend I mix it with?

1-Q or a straight Virginia. I've got some from 2008 that has lost a lot of the punch and no longer so one dimensional.

I'll try that out. Mine was a fresh tin and I liked it but I want to see if I like it even more with a little sweetness to it.

I sometimes use a pinch of it in other blends. It plays nice with Newminster Superior Navy Flake.

I had a bowl from a tin I purchased in 2014 the other day and I remembered why I only ever purchased that one tin. It's not a bad blend, but for me as well it is one-dimensional and burns a little funny for some reason.

I'm going to see what I have to mix and smoke with it. Too new so I know little of all the brands out there.

I left the bowl sized portion out for 30 minutes and it smoked pretty well. Cant wait to mix it up with something sweet.

Six months in a jar mellowed out the blend into a totally different smoke.

I like Mountain Camp a lot, and definitely recommend it. I would also suggest Orient Express, one of my personal favorites for cold weather smoking.

I like half and half--Pirate Kake and Stokkebey or C&D or Sutliff blending Latakia (any kind will likely do, I just have those 3 in jars handy on the shelf!). mmm good

Stokkebye 310 Black Latakia (got it from Pipes and cigars)
C&D Latakia (got it from Smokingpipes)
Sutliff Blending Latakia (I got it from Cup o Joes)
