What type of glue is used on a corn cob stem? It looks like just plain Elmer's glue that you would use in grade school, but it can't be. Can it???

If you're talking about the shank to bowl connection, you got it. Elmer's white glue or wood glue are great for that.

I thought of drywall plaster, but can’t be
Must be ordinary wood glue , maybe add a little wood flour for thickener

They use plaster to fill the gaps in the kernels, but it really is just plain old white glue.

I mixed gorilla glue type II with microlight fairing compound , perfect colour match for the Missouri meerschaum
Light skim filled all the voids , touch up sanding with #400 and the old cron cob is like new ..
