Cooking Pelicans

Thursday night I felt Like cooking Pelican, three a tin in the oven, looked at it and said to myself a Nitecap would go good with this, threw in a tin of Nitecap, pondering again I said to myself Erinmore this works I mightt do it again so I threw in a tin of Erinmore, cranked up the oven to 190degs cooked it for 7 hrs, went to bed and told myself I"ll have a feast for breakfast,it's Sat night and for you Nitecap fans , smooth can"t describe it , try it you"ll like it, didn"t try the pelican had chicken gumbo tonight, enough fowl for the night, Erinmore I drink another drink I"ll Erinmore again. Hey Old Cajun,
When I first saw your title I thought you were posting a variation of the recipe for cooking a Kookaburra, an Australian bird sometimes called a Laughing Jackass.
Here's the recipe:
1 large Kookaburra

1 river rock approximately the same size as the bird

Your own preferred poultry seasonings

2 bay leaves

1 large cooking pot

1 camp fire
First you clean the Kookaburra and the river rock, and place them in the pot.

Add your seasonings in a cheese cloth bag and the bay leaves to the pot.

Fill the pot with water.

Place the pot on the camp fire.

Bring the water to a boil and cook until the rock is tender.

Throw away the seasoning bag, the bay leaves, and the bird.

Then eat the rock.

Hey Bradley , I just baked some Orlik Golden slices , the way you did the erinmoore you gave me . Fabulous . Oven set to 180 , 5.5 hours cooking time . I let it set in my cabinet since thursday , tried it before work tonight . I repeat fabulous !

Never heard or seen anyone cooking the Nightcap, but I'll try that myself. I've only baked VA blends so far - never an English

Holy Mack'l der Andy! I thought it was 200° for 5 hours.

Is 190° for 7 hours a better way to do it?
