Two great events on 5/14. The Chicago Pipe Show and a bunch of guys from church getting together for a target shoot. I have had a blast doing this previously, and already promised several guys they could borrow my shotgun. Since I have no idea how to clean and cook clay pigeons, I usually intentionally miss. (really!) Perhaps the shoot will be early, so I can attend both events. Otherwise I will have to go to the show on Sunday.
For those who care, this is post # 100.

Since I have no idea how to clean and cook clay pigeons,
I wonder if the recipe is similar to the one for cooking Kookaburras? (also called the Laughing Jackass.)
Boil water in a large pot with a stone approximately the same size as the bird.

Put the bird in the boiling water with the stone.

Continue to boil the water until the rock is tender.

Then throw away the bird and eat the rock.

Maybe you can combine the two events and have a smoking shoot out. Either way, it sounds like a good time. Just don't shoot each other.
Edit.. And congrats on you 100 post. May you have many more.
Oops, time to walk the dog, gotta go.
