Weekend mornings, I try to get up before the household awakes and enjoy back to back pipes with a bottomless cup of coffee and a book while watching the critters and neighborhood wake up.

Today's efforts failed as the toddler caught me cleaning the bathroom before I could enjoy my alone time. I did get a chuckle out of a chipmunk that stole her mini doughnut that fell out of the package (as I tried to enjoy a pipe - it's just not the same as my alone time).

By the way, I strongly recommend having separate Male and female bathrooms in the household. Females all all ages can be kinda gross at times (so can men) and I hated pulling mini chewbacca strands out of the drains.

I live with 3 females, potentially a 4th depending on what the new baby is.
I feel your pain on the drains..... my God how does it happen?

It's like they are cats in human form. Feed me, pet me (but not too much or I will hiss), clean up after me ... and just ignore the kitten sized clumps of hair in the bathroom.

If I shed that much hair, I would be bald.

Having separate bathrooms is a gamechanger. Strongly recommend.

I used to smoke back to back bowls all day long, but I found that after several years of doing so I didn't enjoy smoking a pipe that much. To be honest, I got bored with pipe smoking.
Yeah, I can find myself getting quite bored with it at times. Being an outdoor only smoker living in Minnesota, my all day smoking is a seasonal thing. My bigger concern is to not turn to the comforting arms of smokeless tobacco in the winter. There's nicotine in that stuff. ;)

Lately, quite a bit as I try to quit cigarettes completely. But not in my 'better' pipes... just my knockabouts and cob. I do wait for them to cool down a bit though or load two and go from one to another. Not everyday just some days. No comment on other issue;).

I don't like multi-tasking much, though I do it when it's needed, of course. I smoke my pipes one bowl at a time. Not like the the ladies who knit in church or the kids who play video games while supposedly doing their homework. But my dad used to smoke Granger from after breakfast until bedtime, with time out for meals. He only owned one pipe at a time, and only smoked Granger from the now defunct foil pouch, from college to age 65 when he quit cold turkey to take a job on a non-smoking campus.

"Title edited for caps. Please read Rule 9."

I find it highly ironic that the mod sought to admonish me for capitalization in this thread, while replacing it with an incorrectly capitalized title.

With such an inauspicious start, I think I can determine the Karenized culture of those in charge quickly and will take leave of it.

I have no doubt this post will soon be pulled. But when it is, please also close and delete my account. Failing that, please direct me to where I need to go to close my account.

Thank you.

Hang in there. Trying to get the hang of the forum myself. Great pipe smokers on the site, caps are just a bump in the road :)

Try to switch up pipes and tobacco. I get dulled on my favorites sometimes, as well
