Back in November, Voorhees and I snagged sister pipes from sp.com. Both were unsmoked, pre-1980s Comoy's pebble grains. His was a volcano shape, mine was billed as a paneled Dublin shape 412.
I have had a chance to run a few bowls through now and can say that this is now one of my favourite pipes. Very little break in required with a dry smoke every time. The one little surprise when I first got the pipe was the removable metal condenser, which I have yet to use.
Not sure if this a common feature of Comoy's of the era or not. Also wondering how the sister pipe is smoking?
