Very cool! Is it just me, or has rustication changed over the years? To me, the older rusticated pipes always look very different than the new ones.
(I realize now that is says sandblast, which is different than rustication, but I guess the question still stands.)

Nice job as ever Al but aren't the walls of the bowl a little on the thin side? Methinks that pipe would get pretty hot during a smoke. Have you fired it up yet?

Jay, the photos are a bit deceiving. The pipe is a quite a bit chunkier than it appears in the pix. The bowl walls are quite thick. I haven't smoked it yet, but I wouldn't anticipate any issues given it's size (it's squat but close to 60 grams in weight).
