Thanks, Gary. I'm used to smoking flakes, folded and stuffed, in a billiard. I'm wondering how I'll have to modify my packing style for this shallower, wider bowl. I'm sure I'll find a way.

petes03--Thanks--so what do you recommend? fold and stuff, rub it out, or cube it (my least favorite so far) for flakes?

It depends on the depth of the bowl, and the cut of the flake, but I normally use the fold-n-stuff method. Incidentally, when I fold my flakes I usually twist them around a little before stuffing them. It's almost like partially rubbing them out. I feel I get a better initial light, and more consistent burn throughout the bowl by doing that.
