Ok so I asked y'all about Chacom pipes and got mixed reviews that have pretty much scared me away sadly. So now I want to know what y'all think of Johs. I understand that he use to work for Bjarne. I have also heard that the chambers are somewhat unorthodox in shape (come to a sharp cone/v shape in the bottom instead of being rounded). I was wanting to know from those that have owned them or know someone that has one is how they smoke (poorly, ok good, excellent). Especially compared to say some Petes or Savs or other more reputable brands. Thanks in advance.

Pipephil... I have no complaints about my large bulldog.

Good grain, birds eyes above the groves and on the wedged base.

IMHO that demonstrates attention to detail and craftsmanship.

While I paid right at $100 for it... Money well spent.

I posted a pic in the other string.
In fact I now use it for slow smoking almost exclusively.

A very fine pipe.

Love my Johs bulldog! Cheaper brand of pipe IMHO and I've never experience any problems with it at all.

Very good pipe for the money, I've owned 2 of them and both of them smoked cool from the get go.
