Greetings,
Recently, I have been working a pipe back into my life. I dusted off my pipe bag, and found my small neglected collection. I even had some unopened tins that appear to be ready to smoke. It has been 5 or 6 years and while a little wobbly, I find it familiar, much like riding a bike again after a long time past.
Glad to be here,
JAWz

You were smart to save your pipes. Some people take a break and give them all away or sell them off. I've had a few hiatus but have the first pipe I ever bought, still beautiful and smoking strong. Welcome back from central North Carolina.

I do not have my first pipe ever still, that cob is long since gone sadly. But I still have my first ever briar, a Big Ben presidential billiard. It was first pipe I smoked after my hiatus.

You never forget your first cob.

Still smoke mine a lot. Had it around 8 years. I'd be more sad if I lost that cob over any of my nicer briars.
