Colored Pipe Finishes

I was wondering if it is possible to get multicolored pipe finishes. I do mainly prefer normal stains and the show of the wood but there is this crazy person inside me that would like at least one pipe with a crazy taffy swirl colored effect on it.
Apart from it making a few people feel sick... is this possible or would the heat from smoking have a really bad effect on it?

It's an old (probably 60s-70s) Medico Bold Rebel. They are painted as were the Kaywoodie White Briars. Grabow Color Dukes and Viscounts,Medico Spectrum and others. I've smoked the Grabows and Medicos. Found they smoke just fine. Any Kaywoodies I got were either sold or turned into tampers. Barontini-- IIRC--makes some wildly finished pipes.

I know on BriarBird's Facebook under his Mobile Pictures album he stained a pipe with a mixture of colors and got a zombie flesh looking pipe.
It's pretty cool looking with a white stem too.

I had a the exact pipe above, but it was blue and black swirl. A great smoker. I'm on my iPhone and couldn't post pics...

Those pipes are nice.

I am in the uk and i have never seen a coloured pipe in any of the B&M shops or online ones.
So there is hope for my brightly coloured vomit swirl inspired look pipe yet :D

You can also look at these, some of which I think are cool, and at least one of which I am likely to buy even if I have no money for it because I have spent all my money on pipes, like every pipe I see and like, and this is getting out of hand, I should probably cancel all my internet accounts and disconnect myself from the ability to find such cool stuff, and...someone please insert a period and stop me before I hurt myself...
