Hi folks. I had a cob that seemed to smoke not-so-nice today, so I tried cleaning it with Deniclean and a coarse pipe cleaner, but when I tried to put the stem back in, it wouldn't fit! 8O Did the cob just swell with liquid exposure? Did the coarse cleaner make the entrance too rough to fit? All my cobs are dedicated to one blend so I haven't tried Deniclean or a rough cleaner on one before (usually just run a soft pipe cleaner through after each smoke). It's weird because the stem was only out for a minute or two.

This happens to me every month when I give everyone one a good cleaning. So far the swelling hasn't been permanent and everyone everyone is still ready when their spot in the rotation comes up. Just give it a little time for the swelling to go down.
