CLR an Pipe Cleaning

Just curious. Anyone ever tried using CLR cleaner in place of Bleach to restore the stem of an old pipe?

I just used oxyclean last night and it worked like a charm, haven't tried clr though.

Stay away from CLR, has all different kinds of acids to dissolve rust, bad,bad ,bad, for pipes. The old cajun

Oxy clean soak works awesome. But have a magic eraser to scrub the oxidation off, hardest part.
