Did a lot of digging to find out about the Pipemaker of this pipe. Made by Daniel Jud who became a hobby Pipemaker in 1990. After making a trip to St. Claude France, where most of his Briars and stems would come from, he began making 40-60 pipes/year. He continues to use briar from Morrocco, Spain and Algeria today. This Classic diamond shank Bulldog is one of his earlier pipes gifted to me in unsmoked condition. Keeping it smokey with some Bob's Chocolate Flake on its maiden smoke.

I love the bulldog shape. Most of my pipes are either 'dogs or Rhodesians.
