I thought that this one was going to be the easiest of an Ebay Trio, but it proved to be the most challenging. The "Tuscan Lipe" twin-bore button was too damaged to repair, so I had to cut in a new button.

Should be a nice little smoker Al. Never too big a fan of twin bore stems...

Nice one Al! Classy looking bulldog. How much did you lose off the stem? Looks to be about 1/4", but still the pipe has a nice balance, and the stem doesn't look too short. Love to see these old pipes given a new life!

Damn, nice job. Looks like someone liked how it smoked. I'd be tempted to give it go before you pass it on. Never know. Could be a jewel.

I only cut off the button width. Sold to a member here, he says it smokes great. Interestingly,I had never worked on a 9240 shape before, but the Militaire I just acquired is the same shape.
