I wonder if anyone has tried Petersons Gold Blend. It says,a note of Hickory nut and vannila with a touch of Cinnamon.I like Cinnamon,I use it in lots of things including my porridge (apologies to trditional Scots) but I'm wondering what it is like in baccy. I have smoked Petes Sunset Breeze and Connoisseurs Choice and they are both great so now I am curious about the Gold Blend. :puffpipe: Tom

I haven't tried the Gold blend yet, but it seems most of the tobaccos I have tried seem to have a cinnamon quality about them. MAybe it's just me.

I find that cinnamon seems to show up in Christmas house blends every year. I guess its inkeeping with the holiday. Nice spicy quality to it. Our B&M makes a holiday blend with cinnamon that is very nice during the cold months.

I happen to be smoking Gold Blend right now. I'd call the Cinnamon muted, or in the background. The nuttiness and vanilla are more pronounced. I like every one of Peterson's round-tin aromatics, because they are flavorful and subtle, and won't overwhelm you.
