Cigarette Tobacco?

Is it smokable in a pipe or not? I see that Mac baren also has the Original choice (rolling tobacco) but it's very fine cut. Can I use it in a pipe or not?

You can, but most RYO cig tobacco is very low-quality. The MacB might not be too bad.

I figured if it's the same brand and blend it might be smokable IF the fine cut isn't a problem....as a beginner I just don't know....

I guess my question is, why would you WANT to? If you want cigarette tobacco, smoke a cigarette. The whole point of smoking a pipe (well, part of the point) is to experience higher quality leaf.

Sure, very true...my local shop doesn't have the MB OC for pipe, only the rolling one...I don't have the option in 14 days to buy the proper stuff, so I figured I'll ask if this could be an option...

I don't know what that means, but depending on where you live, the site sponsors could have top quality leaf at your door in a few days.

aha, sorry ... I'm from Slovenia Europe...small town, few tobacco choices - online purchase is always an option, still if this is cool to try I would buy a package and smoke it today...I thought someone had experience of smoking that particular tobacco in a pipe....

You'll be fine. Tobacco is tobacco in the end. The cut doesn't really matter, it's how you pack it. The mixing Va type pipe tobacco is pretty much the same as cigarette tobacco in my opinion.

I've tried it. If it's your only choice, why not? However, I find it not as satisfying and I'm a cig smoker too.

I mistakenly bought a small bag of cig tobacco, I mixed it 50/50 with Carter Hall till it was all gone. Turned out to be a pretty good smoke. Get some pipe tobacco and mix it, try it if you can.

I once ran out of pipe tobacco on the road, and bought a pack of Camel filterless. Yuk. I'll never try that again.
