Cigar shops in Cancun?

Anyone know of any good tobacco shops in Cancun? Here for a week and would like to pick some up. Thank you

Beware of fake Cubans. If you aren't really familiar with Cuban cigars, you'd likely be better off not wasting your money.

Yes, just about every shop in the marketplace has fake Cuban cigars. I’d bring my own if you don’t want to pay crazy high prices at the La Casa.

I'd bring my own cigars made in DR.

Yeah, I haven’t been to Cancun since 2009, but back then I paid $12-15/cigar at La Casa, which was in a small outdoor mall across from my hotel. In the city, there was also a small shop in an indoor mall where a woman was handrolling inexpensive Mexican cigars. Worth trying but very sweet tobacco, which isn’t what I want in a cigar.

The outdoor “marketplace” stalls in town should be the last place you look for a good cigar.
