Cigar Buddy Wants to Try It Out

Good evening all,

I have a friend who will occasionally smoke a cigar with me who has decided he wants to take the plunge and try out the pipe. I gave him the best advice I could, and he went out and got a MM cob but is waiting to buy the tobacco for it. So my question is where else can I advise him to go to get some trust worthy information?
I have already told him that this is an awesome forum and has a lot of great information already out there, but I don't want to limit his intake of information.

I believe that he can obtain just about any information that can find useful here.

However; I have on occasion recommend that New Pipe Smokers read the Wikipedia descriptions of the various types of tobacco. This will provide; a very rudimentary ed-u-macation about "real" tobaccos, and what to pay attention to when trying to discover what he is actually tasting....

Virginia Tobacco

Burley Tobacco

Cavendish Tobacco

Latakia Tobacco

Turkish Tobacco

Oriental Tobacco

Perique Tobacco
