Churchill 1399 question

I have my late fathers pipe called Churchill 1399. I know it's nothing fancy but I don't see anything on Pipedia on that brand and not much in general. Wondering if anyone knew what umbrella company it might be under? Or anything about it really... It's a fishtail which I removed the oxidation from though I haven't restored or messed with the bowl yet but it almost looks like a meerschaum bowl inside.

Does it have country of manufacture stamp?

Nothin' --- Just "Churchill" at top of stamp "imported briar" at bottom and the number in the middle.
