I recently acquired this beauty from Christopher Besse, aka Shikano53. My second Christopher Pipe, and absolutely my favorite pipe since breaking it in.
I have a predilection to churchwardens and Dublins (and all variations of), so this pipe was a natural fit. The hearty chamber with generous walls has proven to lend itself quite nicely to relaxing sessions with Drew Estates Meat Pie and Sutliff's Voodoo Queen. The shape and dimensions fit my hand in a perfectly pleasing manner; I find it more comfortable than my Peterson D6 'warden, a bit lighter than my Lorenzo Lectura, and just overall 'right'. The generous airway that I noted in the Christopher Stout Pot is slightly toned down in this warden, but it is still very much what I call a 'breather'. Apart from a slight 'blemish' or 'character mark'(depending on how you perceive them), this pipe is perfect. It smokes how one would expect any high quality pipe would be expected; easy and smoothly. I am certain that the next pipe I go out of my way for will be another Christopher Pipe.
Please forgive the link to his gallery; his pictures are far better than any I'm currently able to manage. I will add that this pipe is even better in person.

Nice, I love the freehand he sent last year, his skills are coming along and his early works will be a prize to pass along after my time
