Christmas Cheer 2011 (re-visited)

I believe I read that CC 2012 came out this week or last week. That jogged my memory that I still have about half a tin of CC 2011 in my cellar. I packed some into my Peterson Rocky Donegal and fired it up this evening...man...it got really good from the last time I smoked it. I broke the already semi-broken flakes up into a ribbon and even upon first light it revealed a very sweet smoke. This is very light, but not lacking in flavor. Their is the hay component to it, but there is a very present citrus taste to it and the room note is just out of this world. It also leaves a very creamy mouth feel with zero bite.
So if you have some laying around now would be a good time to re-visit this old friend.

Sounds good. I have never tried the series before. I do have some 2012 on the way. I can't wait to see how it changes between now and say a year or so from now.

I got this blend in trade from jameral ... I'm not big on Virginia blends, but this one was alright in my book. But it doesn't beat good old bulk Lane Limited MV-1000
This post has helped me make it Christmas in August, and have some of the Christmas Cheer outside of my usual rotation ... cheers all. ::

Christmas Cheer is an awesome blend, I got some in a trade, it was 2007 Vintage. Took a while to smoke it, while not a Nic bomb by any means, a very rich creamy smoke. Naturally sweet .
