I have to say that the more I look at that rather organic piece, the more I like it.

Chris has the 'dress' side OUT on that one, and I can see a 'mate' made in reverse, OR, a 7 day set of similarly designed classics.

One thing (I think) we pipe guys tend to do is 'identify' certain characteristics with certain carvers/makers which 'brands' that into our minds and can be both good and bad.

That he barely paid the light bill required for the creation of that beauty is beside the point.

Fantastic interpretation of the poker shape.
I love the way it takes the tree branch look further back into the forest. The rustication looks like the bark and the smooth side looks like a clean cut with a hatchet.
Nicest poker I've ever seen!

Yeah, it really fits the woodsy atmosphere where I live.
Thanks for posting pic, not quite up on that yet.
I would definitely enjoy a week's worth series of these though Newbroom, that's for sure.
